VICTOR MANUELLE TO RECEIVE ENTERTAINERS’ KEY TO THE CITY
New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently announced the return of the 'Rise Up NYC' summer concert series, offering various free outdoor concerts to New Yorkers across all five boroughs this summer. The highly anticipated concert series — put on in partnership with the Office of Mayor Eric Adams and Globe Star Media, is expanding significantly for its third season, inspiring all New Yorkers to unite and uplift New York City.
On Wednesday, August 21st, multi-award-winning chart-topping Salsa singer-composer, Víctor Manuelle will receive the ‘Entertainers’ Key to the City of New York’, from Mayor Adams. The presentation will take place in the borough of the Bronx, at Orchard Beach, with a celebratory performance in front of thousands of invited adoring fans.

I’m very excited to present my show and celebrate a night full of music and energy with the latin community”, commented Víctor Manuelle.
Víctor Manuelle, also known as “El Sonero de la Juventud,” has become one of the best-selling salsa performers of all times, with his albums selling a combined 1 million-plus copies in the U.S. He is also honored with five Guinness World Records for his chart success, charted an incredible 47 singles on Billboard Hot Latin Songs and a record 29 #1's on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart. He also holds the record for most charting hits (82) and Top 10 hits (65) on the chart.
In addition to being a successful artist, Víctor Manuelle has distinguished himself for his social commitment with various organizations. Since 2015, he has been the spokesperson for the De Frente al Alzheimer Foundation, and through their efforts, they have been able to assist over 400 Puerto Rican families with Alzheimer’s care expenses, such as caregiver services, nursing, medical services, distribution of adult diapers, medications, and medical equipment, among others.
