New York-”They never thought that Hip Hop would take it this far”. The lyrics from the late great Notorious B.I.G. On August 5th. LL Cool J took his famously 1985 titled hit Rock The Bells right back home in Queens for an all star Hip Hop celebration. From Big Daddy Kane, Swizz Beats, Queen Latifah, Salt -N- Pepa to LL Cool J himself. But, this was more than just a live concert. This was a real true celebration. First, the energy and the crowd was more than involved. Every artist that performed received, loud and magnetic applauses. The stadium was filled with true lovers of Hip Hop/Rap music and it’s culture. As they say, there were no haters around. Sweet Chick,(owned by Rap Legend NAS) was enjoyed by just about everyone in the stadium stands. The party continued well into the night. When LL Cool J took the stage the excitement grew even louder in applause for the Hip Hop pioneer who never forgot where he came from.
