A proud graduate of the University of Nevada, both for her undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees, she has honed her legal expertise through diverse roles, from entrepreneurship to serving as a student attorney and later as an Associate Attorney and law clerk.
Since her election to the Las Vegas Justice Court bench in 2012, Judge Cruz has skillfully managed criminal and civil caseloads, emphasizing fairness and impartiality. Her leadership in the Drug Court and DUI Treatment Court programs showcases her innovative approach to rehabilitation and justice.
